From the street to the lounge, Mr Donald knows which one he prefers.
Donald was a stray cat who had been hanging around rescue HQ for months! He continually tried getting inside to all of the other cats so we decided enough was enough. Our pudgy boy was caught in our drive way, undesexed, no microchip, and very raggedy. After vet checks, public advertising around the community and a 2 week hold to make sure he definitely wasn’t owned, Donald became a Safe And Sound Animal Rescue kitty and his life as about to become so much better! Needless to say we were very surprised when he tested NEGATIVE for FIV!!!

Coming from the mean streets Donald wasn’t really a fan of humans and only tolerated you when he knew it was feeding time. He took a while to come around, and will do in his furever home too, but once you’re Donalds friend, his loud purrs will tell you just how far he has come while he laps up head, chin and bum scratches.

Donald has learnt that catching up on all the meals he missed as a street cat, and sleeping on the lounge are his two favourite things in life. He now enjoys playing with the other cats and even gets tolerates the dogs that come through his foster home!
