About Thumbelina
Hey everyone, I'm Thumbelina and this is my story.
I was born at BARC many months ago. I grew up in a BARC foster care home with my siblings and later returned and was adopted. I have recently found my way back here as I was being a bit too much for my family. I am very energetic, active, curious and OH SO PLAYFUL! I like to play with all of my cat instincts and because of this I can sometimes play too hard, so I do need my find myself a home with some bigger/older children. I would also really benefit from another play (mate cat or dog) and an outside enclosure where I can burn off some energy following all my instincts!
I am such a sleek and stunning girl who is just looking for another chance at finding my happily ever after.
In my previous home I was an only cat, and the staff at BARC are working with me to redevelop my social skills, I am getting better every day but still have a bit of work ahead of me.
If you think you could provide me with all the love and enrichment that I need please give BARC a call on (03) 5441 2209 to book your essential meet and greet appointment.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
