Looking for a fiercely loyal and loving companion to enjoy long walks, fun adventures and cuddles on the couch with?
Jed may just be your fella!
This sweet little guy is well mannered, house trained, affectionate, has great recall and adores his people.
Jed is ok with other calm dogs who don’t get in his space but would much prefer them to be casual acquaintances rather than room mates. He likes being an only dog and have all the attention.
Jed can get nervous in new situations and overwhelmed when things get too busy and full on so would ideally love a home with a small family with kids over 10(he has lived with a young teen and loved playing with him!) a couple or a single person in a home where someone is around a fair bit.
Jed’s basic obedience doesn’t cover much as far as commands, however he has great recall, always stays close by, is calm inside and will nap on his bed or at your feet. Just a well mannered boy! He is in care with horses, sheep, pet lambs and cows and has no interest in chasing them. He also lives with cats and is a bit scared and unsure of them at the moment, he could adjust to living with a confident dog savvy cat. He loves playing fetch and a variety of brain games makes him very happy and helps keep him relaxed.
Jed is active boy and requires walks and enrichment as well as loads of love and attention.

Adoption details
Please send our friendly volunteers an email about yourself and we will reply to you as soon as possible. We can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt:
- payment is made
- a quick property check is conducted for dogs
-then you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We have a 2 week trial period so if this pet is not the perfect fit for you we will supply you with a full refund minus a $50 administration fee within the trail period. We will also take the adopted pet back at any stage should you be unable to care for them any longer.
