About Thumbelina
Thumbelina is the most sweetest loving little "Cavoodle" once she gets to know you but she is terrified of meeting new people and being placed in unfamiliar surroundings and will take a few days to settle into her new home.
Thumbelina loves to play with toys, wrestle and play tug of war with other similar sized gentle dogs. She loves to go for a walk and is excellent in the car. She is quite happy to snuggle up with you on the lounge whilst you watch TV. She is pretty quiet except will have a little bark when a stranger comes to visit. She is not bothered by cats.
Thumbelina had an accident as a puppy and suffered some damage to her cerebellum and as a result doesn't walk or run quite properly, but in her own funny way which is just adorable.
During the day she is toilet trained and uses a doggy door quite happily but at night when she is in a deep sleep she wets her bed. This is overcome be either placing a mattress protector over the bed with towel or blanket on top which is then washed in the morning or by placing a doggy nappy on her before bedtime. I do this and it takes probably a minute before bedtime and seconds to take it off in the morning. It really is no hassle and it doesn't bother her.
She really is the most adorable little girl (weighs about 4 kg) and truthfully I could happily adopt her myself but I already have enough resident dogs.
Don't let the doggy nappy deter you it really is no problem.
Thumbelina is located on the NSW Central Coast.
