Octavia

Octavia is a grey Alaskan Malamute female, born on 7 April 2019. She was surrendered due to a change in family circumstances, not as a result of behavioural issues.

This is how her previous owner describes her:

"Octavia is fantastic with children of all ages. She is super soft and gentle with my baby granddaughter. She can be a bit shy with adults sometimes. She likes cats and gets along well with them. She doesn't like small dogs - the yapping and barking annoys her - but she gets on with medium and larger breeds. Octavia loves going for walks everyday and generally walks well, but if she gets excited she can pull hard. Her favourite games to play are tug of war and soccer. She is well-mannered and can sit, drop and stay on command. Octavia can easily scale a low fence and will dig a hole if she gets bored e.g., if she doesn't get her daily walk."

Octavia is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and her adoption fee is $850.

* arctic breed experience
* high secure fencing
* no small pets and
* no small children

we'd love to hear from you. Although Octavia appears to be one of those rare malamutes that likes cats and is gentle with little children, there are no guarantees. Malamutes are strong, large and exuberant dogs and our priority is to find Octavia her ideal forever home.
