About Stevie
Beautiful Stevie is ready to find her forever home but it has to be PAWFECT!
Stevie is a fun-loving, affectionate girl who just loves her people, both big and small. Couch cuddles is high on her list of fave things. She is very intelligent and knows how to sit, stay and has excellent recall. Keeping her mind active with obedience training, trick training and puzzles will be key to keeping Stevie content in her new home.
Whilst Stevie is an active dog, she has very mild hip dysplasia with some arthritis, so her activity levels need to be managed so she isn't overdoing it. She is on six monthly injections to assist with her joint health, the cost of which is minimal. As much as she loves to play fetch, sadly it is not in her best interest. She still loves going for daily walks though and enjoys a good sniff around.
Stevie is getting better with other dogs and cats, however she prefers to keep her toys to herself. She would be best in a home without other animals, or with people who are familiar with resource guarding. Her new owner needs to be experienced with working breeds and firm but fair when it comes to Stevie's ongoing training. Someone who is home a lot or can take her to work would be ideal.
Can you give Stevie the home she so deserves??
Medical notes
HIP DYSPLASIA - Stevie has very mild hip dysplasia with some arthritis, so her activity levels need to be managed so she isn't overdoing it. She is on six monthly injections to assist with her joint health, the cost of which is minimal. Daily walks and swimming are beneficial but she is not suited as a running partner.
