About Dennis
My name is Dennis and I am known as Dennis the Menace by many people who know me. I might look very innocent and cute, but I can assure you I will keep you on your toes. I am a young energetic, cheeky dog who loves to explore and LOVE training.
I'm currently living with dogs, cats and budgies and through much effort and time, I am learning to live harmoniously with the feline and feathery creatures. I have also been socialised with a rabbit but that is definitely another conundrum.
I am looking for an active family who can teach me boundaries, rules and continue with my training. I am a very smart cookie and without a firm, assertive handler, I will most definitely test the waters. I do get very excited and at times frustrated when I see another dog in which I am DYING to get to, but I am learning that I need to demonstrate appropriate calm behaviours before I am allowed to meet them.... this is a work in progress.
Enough with my mischief, I do have an off switch button and is crate trained, toilet trained, I know sit, drop, recall is coming along and most importantly, I love a chin rub.
I am looking for a home where I can call my own and would love to also have a sibling four legged canine to teach me the ropes and have a playing buddy. I would greatly appreciate a big backyard as I love playing chasey.
I need secure fencing and unfortunately no farm fencing as I most likely will get too interested and sneak off on an adventure. I am also looking for a home with no young kids. I have not been socialised to many and when I do see kids, I can become agitated and would bark.
Medical notes
Dennis comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm and flea treated.
