ABOUT SHIRAZ

Shiraz was born on the streets in a cat colony living at a recycling centre. It was dangerous with large machinery and rubbish surrounding his home and play areas. Food, water and warmth was not easy to find.

When he came into care with his brothers, he was the most shy and timid of them. He has taken the longest to win over, even with treats. He is still learning to trust and with will need to be
considered if considering to adopt him. He will need a quiet home, with someone who will give the time and space to learn to trust them. In return he will open up and give you cuddles and will love to play with toys and games.

He is a gentle and sweet boy always hanging out the back when treats are being offered. He likes to tap you on the hand if you have food to remind you he is there. This is the same as he has become more bold for pats. He hasn't been a lap cat yet, but this may come as he learns to trust more.

He will need a home with older children or preferably no children due to his timidness. He is going to need time and patience and a quiet home home for him to learn to feel safe and trust those around him. But he is such a sweet and playful little boy who I believe will reward you for your efforts.
