Lizzy Is Trying A New Home!!

Lizzy is trying a new home!!

lizzy was left at the pound soon after her birth and rescued when she was 6 weeks old. Lizzy's carer has worked with her every day since to bring her out of her shell and make her the best dog she can be and she is now very affectionate and loves human companionship. Lizzy is both house trained and crate trained and loves nothing more than curling up in bed on a cold night to keep warm. Lizzy is a very healthy, active girl who loves to go for a run with her carer and does not jump up on people. Lizzy has been fed a diet of chicken carcasses, beef and lamb bones, pasta and veggies with meat (to warm her up on cold days) and has had some dry food as an occasional snack. She has spent the past 10 months living on a farm and is fine with horses, sheep and cattle. While she has never been worked her carer is sure that with the right person she would do well, although she would also make a great pet, which is how she has spent the start of her short life. Lizzy is more than happy to sleep in her crate when without human company and her crate, blanket and a bag of her favourite dry food will go with her to her new home. Lizzy is dog friendly, living with both large and small dogs, but has never been around cats so her reaction to them is unknown. If you wish to meet lizzy it is recommended that you bring your pets (if you have any) to meet her so you can see if they get along. Lizzy's carer will only let her go to a great new home as she has become a much loved part of her family. Lizzy loves to go out for walks and walks beautifully on a lead, and walks quietly beside a pram without pulling. She has also been trained to walk on a treadmill so she can still get a walk when it is raining. Lizzy is fine on short drives but long drives make her anxious and she gets very scared. She has never been swimming but loves to play in water, especially on very hot days. She is the height and length of an average kelpie but is much lighter, currently weighing about 15 kgs. The second photo is lizzy with her doggy foster brother diesel. Lizzy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $275. If you would like more information on lizzy or to arrange to meet her, please email bianca or phone her on 02 48481348. Please note, although lizzy is located in goulburn in the southern highlands, her carer is happy to take her to meet any potential adoptors and their pets. Listed 3 august
