Sydney is a beautiful, petite, 18 month old American Staffy mix looking for her forever home. 🤩

Sydney is curious about her surroundings but she can get a little nervous. She will need a kind and patient owner to help her settle in to her new home, and slowly prepare her for exposure to the outside world. 👍

Her new owners will need to be experienced with dogs and dedicated to continuing her training at home. Sydney can sit with a treat but gets very excited and tends to jump up for cuddles.

It’s also important Sydney’s owners understand she may be extra anxious when entering her new home, so establishing a routine, and not feeding into Sydney’s nervous behavior will be instrumental in her successful transition into your home. 👏😊

Sydney enjoys the company of most other dogs and is happy to meet your pooch here at the shelter to see how they’d get along. 🐶 We think Sydney would be awesome in a home with adults and wouldn’t mind the company of older children.
