About Calia
Calia is a gorgeous Kelpie X German Shepherd mix. She is a loving, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than to cuddle with her humans. She spends her days playing with the other dogs in her foster home, toys, chewing sticks and napping. At night Calia loves to snuggle up on your lap, under a blanket with the heater on watching Netflix.
She is fully crate trained and happily sleeps through the night.
Calia is a smart girl and quick to learn, she will do almost anything for a treat. She is walking well on lead, sitting and is currently learning drop. Calia’s adopter will have to commit to her ongoing basic and obedience training and socialisation.
Calia is in foster care with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 adult humans and a 5 year old human, therefore she is used to a busy household.
Toilet training is going well but still currently having a few accidents.
Calia is looking for a loving family who will allow her inside majority of the time, sleep inside and be included in everyday family life, and outings.
Potential adopters who have an existing dog will be favoured.
Calia is located in Geelong.
Thank you for choosing rescue.
Medical notes
Calia is a happy heathy pup who comes desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and flea/worm treatments.
Calia had 2 weird looking spots on her back where she has shaved spots due to vet shaving her to investigate. Spots have been given the all clear, they are nothing to be concerned about.
