About Ameena
Look into the eyes of this soulful girl we call Ameena, she is looking for a home that will provide her with a lot of love and gentleness. She did not have the best start to life and will take some time to let her guard down to fully trust you, once she does, you will see just how sweet and loving she is. Ameena needs to be shown that there are lots of fun and interesting things to experience in the world and that not all people are scary.
Ameena loves cuddles and belly rubs, and really wants to trust and please her people. She is great with other dogs, enjoys their company and play, and we believe it would be good for Ameena to have a confident and calm doggy friend to lean from.
Ameena walks well on lead, knows how to sit and will also wait for food, she is still learning toilet training but with reminders is getting better.
We are looking for a fairly quiet home that will include Ameena in all aspects of family life, will expose her to lots of new environments and experiences, be patient and nurturing, and will provide lots of pats and cuddles inside in a nice warm home.
We will not adopt Ameena to anyone working full time, living in a unit, or a house with small yard, or has a very busy and noisy home.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
