About Jag
Hi, I’m Jag.
I know what you are thinking, how could a handsome devil like me be on the lookout for a new home?
Well, this is just the situation and let me tell you I am being VERY picky with my choice of humans this time around.
So, a little about me. I am a miniature Schnauzer Cross and seven years young. My absolute favourite thing to do is to be with my humans and cuddle up real close. I don’t want to leave your side - ever. I will actually get quite upset if I am left alone, so you’ll need to be home with me pretty much all the time. I mean, let’s be honest, if I was your boy you would probably never want to leave me anyway.
I must admit, I get pretty overexcited when I see other dogs while out on walks. So I am working on this with my foster parents who say I could do better with commands. I just want to play - this is out of love and excitement nothing else!
Because I like to live well, the inside life is important to me and I won’t settle for anything less. I am toilet trained and great in the car. I am also fine with kids
My ideal home is with a person or people who are home pretty much all the time and would take me places when they go out. You would also need to be committed to my training and helping me feel comfortable and safe again, even if it takes a little while. Would I live with other animals? I am definitely open to it, and a furry friend may well help me with my nerves.
Could you be the one for me?
Please note: Jag will need ongoing training and a high level of support with his anxiety. This means his new family will need to be 100% committed to working with him long term to help him feel comfortable and safe. We will only consider applicants that can give Jag the time and support to help him overcome his issues.
