Mama Venus was trapped at a farm with her 6 kittens and we quickly discovered they’d been poisoned with rat bait or weed killer. Mama Venus passed it to the kittens through her milk and they all passed away but with a little love and TLC she finally came good.

Originally diagnosed with CH (Cerebellar Hyperplasia) we later discovered the poisoning had caused her some muscle wastage and weakness. She has regained most of her movement but when she is startled she does tend to fall over.

Because of this, I’d like to see her in a home with a cat friend and no kids under age 12, so she can settle and be comfortable without rough play and too much noise. She’s not fussed about dogs so a friendly dog may also be ok. She’s learnt to sleep on the bed next to her favourite humans and with a little time will happily cuddle and sit with her trusted human for company.
