About George
George is a lovable little scamp who nestles in the heart of all who meet him. He is a 8 month Jack Russel and has all the energy befitting the name, though also loves to snooze stretched out on his bed (or yours) as if he were an old man.
He loves company and will follow you around the house like a shadow , he would do best in a home where people are around more often than not. He is an extremely clever boy and learns new things very quickly. It has taken no time at all for him to learn where to go to the bathroom and when to leave people alone who didn't want his ceaseless love. We would love for his new family to have a keen interest in taking him to force free training classes and we are sure he will be best in class! He is great with other dogs and think we would thoroughly enjoy sharing his home with another young playful dog friend. He is still learning that not all dogs want to play so if you have a dog at home that isn't for you.
He is great on the leash, getting excited at the sight of other dogs, but only to give them a lick hello and sending them on their way. He needs a family who will be able to exercise him a few times a day otherwise he will get a bit bored and restless. He would make a fantastic companion as his loyalty and cuteness are unparalleled, his brimming energy and playful nature would bring happiness to any home.
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
