Blacky has been waiting far too long.

At 12 years old, this beautiful black cat has spent more time than he should in a shelter, watching other cats come and go while he patiently waits for someone to see the incredible soul he is.

Blacky is the definition of affection. He loves human company, leans into gentle pats, and will happily spend hours curled beside you, purring his heart out. His beautiful black fur hides a heart of pure gold.

Despite his age, Blacky is still full of life. What he longs for most is a quiet, loving home where he can finally rest easy, and maybe soak up the sun in a secure outdoor cat enclosure or a home with cat netting.

This gentle, loyal boy doesn’t ask for much - just love, a warm lap, and a little patch of sunshine to call his own.

Please don’t overlook him because he’s not a kitten. Blacky has so much love left to give, and he’s just waiting for the chance to give it to you.
