About Tsuki
Looking for one of those always friendly, smiling, happy dogs ? Tsuki is your girl!
Words cannot express how amazing this girl is. She is an incredibly sweet love bug with super soft fur and beautiful piercing eyes! She has a real love for life and everything about it.
Tsuki adores other dogs and is at her happiest in life when she has another dog to play with and lounge around with. She's really friendly with every dog she's met and just loves to have a great game of bitey face, tug o war or a rumble. She equally loves people and will snuggle up with you for a cuddle or a pat on the lounge.
This girl has personality! She's a little cheeky, a little mischievous and a whole lot of lovely. You will laugh at her daily antics and silliness.
Her other great love is the car and she loves nothing more than coming with you on any errand or adventure. Head out the window, ears flapping in the breeze!
Tsuki will need a large breed experienced home that will set clear and consistent boundaries. She has basic manners, is house trained and sleeps well through the night and does needs some lead work.
Being a Neo Mastiff mix, they are natural guard dogs and Tsuki is no different. She will bark and alert should anything seem out of place or dogs in the area are alerting. She will let people know she's there. A busy, suburban environment will not suit her...or your neighbours!!
She MUST have a home with another playful (but not over the top) dog at home and if humans are around often too, that would be ideal. You must be committed to her ongoing training and her medical issues. You will ideally have some knowledge about feeding an appropriate diet and have the financial means to ensure she gets the supplements required to support her joints and ongoing health.
Tsuki loves to be outdoors, lazing in the sun, taking in the fresh air. In saying that, she also needs a comfy bed inside at night for sleeping and a good lounge for a cuddle.
If you think you can offer this beautiful girl a loving forever home, please complete the adoption enquiry form via our Fetching Dogs website.
Medical notes
Tsuki did suffer from OCD where the cartilage comes away from the bone in her left shoulder. She did have orthopedic surgery to remove it. Her recovery has been very good, however, she will have arthritis and pain in that shoulder, especially if she over does the exercise.
She will require gentle, daily exercise with minimal running or jumping. If she overdoes the physical acivity, she will experience some pain in her shoulder.
We are currently supporting her joints with Antinol & Rosehip Vital supplements, which will need to be ongoing and Cartrophen injections (inexpensive).
She will also need to be kept on the lean side to ensure no extra weight on her joints.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
