About Charlie
Heya, I'm Charlie and I'm ready to find my new home!! I REALLLLLLLY love humans, like REALLLLY. I do get uber excited meeting new people and it can take a while for me to remember my manners. I am fairly laid back when meeting new dogs. However I am not a fan of small dogs, cats or anything small and fluffy that moves, I get laser beam eyes and get VERY fixated, which I am told is not a good thing. As much as I am a laid back doggo, I do need a home with another dog. I do not cope without my fur sister around and I get very stressed, I rely on her a lot (don't tell her I said that).
I'm learning all about this thing called manners, apparently the humans don't like it when I jump on them, do zoomies around the house and pretend the floor is lava, learning to walk well on a halti isn't as bad as I first thought. I do need a home who will continue with teaching me boundaries and not allowing me to run around like a hooligan and knock everyone and everything over. When it comes to the small humans, as long as they are sensible and not too silly or too small then I guess we can be friends, if they get excited, then I get excited, then it gets very full on!
My new owners must remember I am still a puppy and I can be destructive still, I do like to dabble in landscaping and dig holes and redecorate plants, I will take the opportunity to nibble on things I shouldn't if they are left in my reach (and being a big boy not much is out of my reach). Currently in my foster home I am very rarely left alone as there is always a human around so not sure how I would cope being home alone for long periods, I suspect there is a chance I would get up to some mischief being the handsome puppy I am!
Being a big boy, sturdy fencing is needed as I can easily rest my paws on the 5 foot fencing to watch the neighbourhood, so I would need fencing no shorter than that to ensure I am not tempted to go on adventures and meet the neighbours. So if you think you can handle all of this bundle of love, affection, crazy puppy-ness then fill out an online adoption application:
