Adira is a lovely young lady, who has had an extended stay in foster care while she was recovering from a medical condition. She is now recovered, and looking for her new home. Adira means brave and strong, and while she has a little way to go yet, we hope that in her new home she will truly grow into this name. She is quite shy at first, but once she is comfortable she is a curious little lady, who likes to know what's going on. She is a relatively independent kitten, who isn't too in your face asking for attention, but if you pick her up for a cuddle, she'll happily sleep in your lap - as long as you don't mind her extremely loud purr. In foster care, Adira met cats and a dog, and while she was unsure at first, she grew to love them. She would be suitable to live with other friendly animals, though introductions would need to be slow and controlled. Adira could also live with respectful children over the age of 10.
