About Morris
IMPORTANT NOTICE
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG
We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.
IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS
Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -
* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms
If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.
If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.
Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.
We require you to acknowledge that you have read and agree with all statements before any potential meet and greet can proceed.
Requirements: Committed to providing regular physical and mental stimulation, An active lifestyle.
Morris possesses a sweet, exuberant nature and is looking for an energetic partner in crime to help him reach his full potential, Morris has blossomed into a great dog with regular exercise and training and loves nothing more than going for a swim, a game of fetch, and a night on the couch with you.
A clever boy who is eager to please, he has recently started obedience and scent detection training and would very much like to continue with a sport of some description. Morris would thrive with an owner committed to providing him with ongoing training, stimulation, and opportunities to show off how clever he is. Agility, obedience, tracking or flyball – he’d be your right hand man!
Morris is a whole lot of dog and is best suited to a household with no children and someone who has experience with his breed or gundogs in general. If you are interested in Morris due to his non-shedding he is NOT the dog for you. He is happy outside but prefers to be part of the action so would flourish in a household where he can be included more often than not.
He is good with other dogs and pets, is both house and crate trained, and is working on his manners with great enthusiasm.
