About Shimmer
Shimmer here, I can be a little shy to start with, I stayed in a quiet place under the bed for the first few days at my new foster home. I wanted to make sure it was safe before I let my foster mumma get too close. but its ok now, I know I'm in a loving safe place and I do like my pats, and the chin scratches, oh I love chin scratches she gives me. I’m not super cuddly, I like to have you around and sleep on your bed but please don’t pick me up all time. I play with my foster sibling, we have lots of fun together chasing each other around and climbing the our tree. My long hair needs to be brushed regularly to help keep me healthy and looking beautiful. My foster mumma says my purr is soft and sounds a bit like a pigeon when she's patting me. Would you like to love me forever and give me my safe and loving forever home?

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
