About Cassie
“Oh hello, I’m Cassie 🥺
I’m looking for a nice place to stay, hopefully forever. I’m really super shy and a bit scared to come out of my safe box on the scratch post because my foster cat-sisters can be a little bit mean to me sometimes and they don’t like sharing things 🥺 so my foster mum said that even though I might not be relaxed and ready to find a family, she still thinks the time has come for me to start meeting new people. I think if I had some space to be comfortable then I might not be so scared all the time, and maybe then I could get to know people better?
When I was rescued I did have a belly full of kittens. It was scary being a kitten myself, but my foster mum was with me the whole time and I didn’t mind her patting me then. I do love a bit of roast chicken and sometimes when I’m not paying attention, foster mum will give me a little pat! (She’s so sneaky) but I haven’t really had anyone that ever loved me before, so I’m still getting used to that. I have very good house manners and never cause trouble with the other cats, because I really like having cat friends. I haven’t lived with dogs before and they kind of scare me because I’m so shy, but I think maybe a quiet old dog would be a good companion one day. Small humans are okay and I never bother them, but they are so loud and move very fast, that a home without them would be better for me.
So if you don’t mind that you will have to take things slow with me and help me settle in to life with people some more, I would love to stay with you. I think a nice bedroom with some cosy sleeping spots would be lovely. And a cat friend would be the cherry on the cake!”
Cassie is a timid cat that would suit a home with no young children, loud dogs or dominant cats. She is very cat social, but also very submissive which makes her vulnerable to cats with a dominant nature.
