About Austin, Denver & Boston ~ (Evaluating Enquiries)
PLEASE NOTE: Austin, Denver and Boston are available to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast area only as they will have to be desexed at one of our local vets when they reach 2kg.
Meet Austin, Denver and Boston! These babies are happy, cuddly, friendly, playful and love human affection!
Austin is a little girl, she is mostly black with a white stripe and muzzle. She is the biggest and most confident of her siblings. Climbing all over human visitors, bravely exploring and playing with teaser toys.
Denver is a little girl, her black markings cover over one of her eyes. She is the best behaved of her siblings- quiet, gentle and thoughtful. Denver has made a best friend in her foster dad.
Boston is a little boy, he has a black “mask” over his eyes (so has a white stripe down his nose). This handsome lad grabs everyone’s attention. He’s the cuddly one, climbing onto your neck to snuggle and fall asleep.
They started life in a busy and sociable household, so could adapt to a variety of situations.
We would love for two to be adopted as a pair. Austin appears to be the most confident, so Boston and Denver would be the ideal pair.
Preference will be given to applications for a pair.
Being so young - would be ideal if they went to a home with an existing cat, or, to a household with someone home most of the time.
At the moment, their favourite things to do are to explore, play with each other and with toys, be scratched around the face, sit on your lap for a nap, eat wet food and snuggle together.
Their personalities will continue to blossom as they grow.
They would be suitable for a home with children who are old enough to respectfully handle small kittens.
They have been exposed to a small, cat-friendly dog. We believe they will adapt to a home with a dog after a proper introduction.
All 3 kittens will be ready for their new homes after July 3 (if they put on enough weight!).
They have been microchipped, flea treated, wormed and revived their first vaccination.
Austin, Denver and Boston are available for adoption to an indoor-only home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast Area only and their adoption fee is $250 for one kitten or $420 for two.
These kittens are in foster care in Waratah, NSW and have had their first vaccination and microchip but will need desexing at a local vet when they are 3-4 months old, which will be covered by Dog Rescue Newcastle. Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
