ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Dedicated owners with previous large guarding breed experience essential. Can live with mature teens 16+. Could potentially live with a calm and social dog pending a meet. Owners MUST be committed to ongoing training and management/eager to learn. Mon-Fri appointments with the behaviour team only.
Meet Paprika!
Gorgeous Paprika and her siblings arrived at the shelter when they were very young as their Mum was sadly unwell at the time and unable to care for them. They have been on foster with some amazing foster carers who loved and cared for them around the clock, and they are now ready to begin the next chapter of their life.
Unfortunately these puppies have had a rough start to life and due to this are very timid and unsure of the world. Because of this they are going to need VERY special and particular homes-they are not just your average puppies and are going to need very dedicated owners who are willing to put in the time and effort to help them. It will be super important that they go to a home that is calm and consistent with loving owners who are able to work with them each day and to continue with their positive socialisation and training. Enrolling them in puppy classes as well as further classes after will be an essential tool in helping them to grow into well balanced, happy and healthy adults. Thankfully Puppy school training is included in the adoption fee, to help get them started on the right track.
At this time they are best suited to a home with mature older teens (16+) and could potentially live with an older calm and social dog pending a meet.
