About Skechers
Skechers is a little fluffy ruffian – the only kitten in his litter with slightly longer fur, Skecher always looks a little rumpled as if just waking from a nap. Skecher was a tiny little kitten at only 117gms the day he came into care with his brothers Hugo Boss, Valentino and Jimmy Choo at about 2 weeks old, and while it was touch and go at the beginning Skecher has let nothing hold him back.
While Skechers is confident climbing to the top of the cat tree or other furniture, he is also the kitten most likely to call out for help to get down – and he is very dramatic about it to.
While he has been raised in a household with multiple cats and dogs, Skechers foster home is a single human household and the increased energy and noise of other people may make him a little nervous at first, so he will need a little time to settle into his new home should multiple humans live there.
Skechers is litter trained, microchipped and has been desexed, had his first vaccination and is ready to meet his potential forever family.
A visit with Skechers can be organised at his foster home in Bligh Park, with visitors being required to adhere to DCH COVID-19 operating guidelines (available at dchanimaladoptions.com.au).
Please note, you must be over 18 years old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH Animal Adoptions.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
