Ara

Little Miss ARA is a Catahoula/Irish Wolfhound cross pup, born 4 May 2020.

She is one of a litter of five born to her lovely mother LUNA, a delightfully gentle, docile and laid back Catahoula/Irish Wolfhound cross, who is also available for adoption.

The Catahoula/Irish Wolfhound is a particularly good mix as it combines the traits of the Catahoula - intelligent, protective, independent, and loyal - with the traits of the Irish Wolfhound - gentle, calm, dignified, completely unaggressive and devoted to their family.

ARA currently weighs about 6.5 kgs and at maturity will be a large dog. Her mother Luna weighs 43 kgs.

ARA will be best suited to a home where she has plenty of opportunity for exercise and mental stimulation and where her humans treat her as an integral part of the family.

Preference will be given to homes where someone is home most of the time and there are children and/or another dog for ARA to play with. Good fencing is essential.

Ara's adoption fee is $600 and she will be available for adoption once she is desexed and microchipped and her vaccination schedule is complete. This will be around 11 August 2020.
