About Zeus ~ 2yo Kelpie x Foxy (On Trial 28/06/20)
Meet Zeus, the most loving, gentle boy ever. Zeus is a 2-3 year old Kelpie X Foxy who absolutely loves his human family and his other dog friends. His initial introduction to us said he was cat friendly as well.
Zeus is a happy little soul who is house trained and sits for his food and knows to go and lie on his bed when told. He can be a little timid when first meeting people but in a couple of minutes will take all the pats and cuddles he can get. His foster family has 2 children 12 & 14 who he absolutely loves and he has also been introduced to younger children and is very gentle with them.
Zeus’s ideal home would be a family who have another dog for him to be with. He has grown up with other dogs all his life and desperately needs another doggie friend. He has had 2 meet and greets with families who absolutely adored him but as they had no other dogs he tried to jump their fences. His foster mum's fence at its lowest point is 4-5 foot but he has never tried to escape as he is with his Labrador x mate Duke. Ideally though he would be in a fenced yard with 6ft fencing.
Zeus is happy outside during the day with another dog but he sleeps inside on his mat overnight. He very rarely barks and is very well behaved indoors.
Zeus loves to go for walks and walks well on the lead. He's just a perfect boy.
Zeus is currently in care in the Newcastle area, NSW. For more information, email Leigh at leigh.tickle1@gmail.com or you can fill out the adoption form online at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Zeus’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
