About Tux B
Tux and his brother Chief are very bonded, and so we are looking for a home for them together. Tux is a happy, healthy kitten, inquisitive and playful. He's very friendly to his foster carer, greeting him at the window to say hello when he comes home from work.
He is a little timid around humans he doesn't know but both he and his brother Chief get along well with both older and younger cats.
Tux and Chief have not had the opportunity to know many different humans as their foster carer lives alone.
He is quite food motivated, so plenty of treats will make Tux your new best friend.
Tux will accept being picked up but prefers to walk around on his own feet.
When it's time for bed, Tux likes to hop up on top of the covers and keep you company, and if you pet him then he's a little purring machine.
He is used to getting both breakfast and dinner, so he may wake you up in the morning for his food. :)
TuxB is a healthy raw fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004385478, source #EE101165). He is available for adoption. His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
------------------------------------------------------
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
