About Coco
Hi! My name is Coco and I am a ... BOY! The gals at the facility say that they aren't sure why my previous owner gave me that name ... but I'm cool with it and it sure is a conversation starter! It's ok if you want to change it though, cause I'm a happy go lucky kinda guy.
Oh in case you were wondering, I am also a Maremma Sheepdog and I was born on 12th March, 2019.
It's great hanging out here at CCACF and I love all of the staff and volunteers ... they feed me and walk and play with me and brush me ... I have made slaves of them all! But now its time for me to find my new slaves ...I mean family - so that the nice folks here can save another dog.
I have lots of energy and I love to run. Are you an active family who could give me all of the exercise I need? I also always try to look my best, so I will need to find a family that are ready to groom, groom and then groom me some more!
I've made lots of friends here and I really like hanging out with other dogs, but I am still young and trying to learn and sometimes I can be a bit much for the little dogs. I would never mean to hurt them, I just sometimes forget my size. Speaking of size, sometimes when I am playing, I may accidentally knock little people over, so maybe it would be best if my new family had kids who are a little older.
I don't mind cats and chickens and rabbits and if you introduce me to them properly, I will be ok living with them too.
The gals here say I have no food aggression or seperation anxiety and of course I am not scared of loud noises! BUT I would love it if you would let me inside when there are fireworks and thunder storms so I know I am safe.
I would really love my new family to have a property so I can run all day long while you are busy doing other things and if you have experience with my breed, that would be great too!
I promise I am a super happy boy and I have so much love to give my new family. I would love to be in a home where I am included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. My friends here say I will thrive in an environment that guides me with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Coco's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
