About George
Hello! My name is George and I am a happy, lovable, friendly, black and white, short haired border collie cross fellow.
I love meeting new people and enjoy hanging out with my foster family. TV time with cuddles in the evening are my best - I really, really, like belly rubs and give great hugs! I am a super chilled boy and after a good walk, am happy to spend the rest of my day lying outdoors in a nice sunny spot or indoors on my bed, close to my humans.
I am learning my manners and always try super hard to please. I know how to “sit”,and “drop” and am also pretty good if foster mum tells me to get “off” something. I am working hard on “stay”, and also on waiting politely for my dinner before tucking in. I have made great progress with walking on a lead and love going on bushwalks - they’re my favourite - so much to see and smell! I am toilet trained and sleep quietly either in a crate or on my dog bed all night.
My ideal new family would include me in their daily life, be home a lot of the time or take me with them wherever they go, and should be willing to continue with my training and mental stimulation. In return I will happily shower them with love, hugs and heaps of waggy tail.
I am located in Berowra Heights NSW.
I am ready and waiting to meet you, so please check out all my photos and send in your application at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
