About Indigo
Indigo is such a sweet girl. She is 10 years old and should be living a life of love and luxury.
Indigo is a quiet, gentle and reserved lady - who prefers to sit back and watch the show, rather than participate. She is tolerant of our other rescue cats but doesn’t seek out their company or choose to interact with them. She is a sweetheart who prefers the company of humans - she will seek out affection but would rather sit next to you and be stroked or brushed than be picked up and carried around. We can’t really disagree with that!!
Indigo will need a quiet and calm home - young children are probably not a good match. She enjoys human company and used to opt to lounge about on the couch in her previous home, or wrap herself around her humans legs.
Indigo was adopted by her previous owner when she was only one. Sadly, Indi’s owner recently entered aged care and was unable to take Indi with her. Family continued to look after Indi but health issues, relating to allergies, meant that this situation was not sustainable. We worked together to keep Indi safe until we were able to take her at Sweet Pea.
Medical notes
Indigo is in good health. She does have some food sensitivities but is doing well on kangaroo meat and a sensitivity biscuit. Indigo is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for ticks, fleas & intestinal worms. She also recently underwent blood test which all returned normal results.
