About Archie 🦒
This adorable little man is Archie, our 7 month old Staffy mix pup who fought with everything he had, to survive. He's smart, happy and a super snuggly boy and now ready to find a family who will love and cherish him, forever.
Archie is currently living with 2 Great Danes (host dogs), loves a good game of Tug-o-war, and not at all intimidated by the size of his furry friends. He would be better suited to a home with another medium to large dog, rather than small dogs, but would also do well in an only dog home, if he had the company of his humans around.
❌ No cats or Pocket pets ❌
Thankfully, most dogs entering the Rescue world, don't arrive in such poor condition, but this little man had us all worried. He weighed in at just 7kg and was quite literally, starving to death. He was saturated and too cold to even register a temperature.....The result of neglect, plain and simple.
Whilst Archie is not currently living with young children, he has been exposed to them during his time in care and absolutely adored them. He thrives on human interaction and will quickly become your little shadow. He is however, happy to snooze and have time out on his own. He is fully toilet trained, responds well to 'sit', 'shake' and 'wait', and excited about travelling in the car. He travels well and enjoys watching the world go by through the window.
We always aim to find the best home for our foster babies, but with what Archie has been through, it needs to be extra special. If you don't allow your furbabies to live both inside and outside as part of the family and sleep inside, please don't apply to adopt him. Archie will need to continue eating Premium dog food twice daily. He will not be adopted into a home where everyone works full time hours and left at home alone for 6-8 hours/day.
Archie has learnt so much during his time in care and has the potential to learn so much more. He just needs a home and family that can provide him with love, training and commitment. He will need secure height appropriate fencing, but has not shown any interest in escaping.
If you think you can provide Archie with the perfect home, we would love to hear from you. He will be available for adoption from 25th June once all his vet work has been completed. Archie is located in Killarney Vale on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
