Jock

G’day! My name is Jock and I’m a 12-month-old kelpie x cattle dog (with a hint of border collie perhaps) I have enthusiasm for life and ‘fun’ is my middle name

I love running around, playing and just generally moving non-stop. My foster mum says I have ants in my pants but we know that’s impossible cause dogs don’t wear pants! I love having lots of space to run around and love going on adventures – I travel well and love hopping on the back of the ute! I am a sociable boy and get on well with my doggy friends (big and small)

I have been learning my human manners while in foster care – I am learning to stay on all fours when saying hello and I will sit like a prince to get a pat. I know to sit, wait for my food and only eat when I am told it’s ok. I have learnt to sleep quietly in my crate and I happily go into my crate during the day when foster mum says I need to rest. I have excellent recall and will stop what I am doing if I hear my name being called. I am also toilet trained!

I am excited to find my forever home. Most kinds of families would suit me as long as they understand the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed and are 150% committed to ongoing training. I need a home with an older doggy sibling who is confident and will be able to tolerate my outgoing and playful nature. Most of all I’d like a family who will love me and include me in their lives.
