Koa

DOG SPORT HOME NEEDED!

This boy is a pocket rocket!! He is exactly what any serious competitor wants in a dog and would suit a dog sport such as GRC.

Koa is a super high prey drive, high energy dog, who has been fostered in a training home with the intention to rehome to a GRC home. He is not your average pup and a pet home will not be enough for him.

At only 6months old his toy and food drive is through the roof. He's been trained on the slatmill and on a spring pole. He loves climbing so any climb wall will be an easy challenge for him. He is an absolute machine on the mill, sprints his little heart out, just needs control layered in. He does it without toys, treats or encouragement, he just loves to run.

Koa is one lucky boy, currently being fostered by a dog trainer and a participant in GRC sport. He has learnt and done so much. He's a quick learner, has done some free shaping, he will offer behaviours. He has marker works and is conditioned to the clicker. He's only ever been walked, on a back attached harness so he's ready for collar conditioning. He has some basic obedience but we have been focusing more on his attitude. He has the mechanics of a flashy sit, stand, drop and just starting the reverse flip into the middle.

He is a social dog but can be silly on the lead around other dogs. A bit more counter conditioning to be continued to perfect this. He does suffer from a condition called 'Fear of missing out' so does need to work on being in a calm, off state while other dogs are working.

He sleeps all night in a crate without any issues. He is awesome with people, including kids and is very affectionate and loving. He loves snuggles and when its down time he loves nothing more than showing you love and snuggles.

Koa is a fantastic dog for the right home. He will be a great competitor in the ring. He is a beautiful dog with loads of power and potential. He has no fear and runs head first into anything you put in front of him (metaphorically and literally). He will only be a smallish dog, maybe around 15-20kg, so he literally is a pocket rocket.
