About Peter
Hello, I’m Peter - a very handsome young chap, even if I do say so myself. I can be a little bit aloof and skittish to begin with but if you let me have my space for a few days it won’t be long until I’m relaxing on the sofa with you. I’m an excellent hunter (especially of any toys with a bell) and I take great pride in trotting around with my ‘prey’ once I’ve caught it. I love my food and I’m always first to the bowl but don’t worry, I burn it off with plenty of sprinting and jumping after my toys; I also really like climbing up high to survey my little kingdom and keep an eye on what's going on. I’m used to wrestling and napping with my brother and sister so I might miss them a bit when I first arrive, but I can’t wait to be part of a new forever family!

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
