About Luke
Luke is a beautiful young boy who is looking for a new place to call home. He will do anything for food and aims to please. He knows all basic commands. Sit, drop, stay on your bed, leave it. Luke is good with other dogs and loves to play with them. He can be noisy when he plays, he is super energetic and smart. He will need daily training and stimulation, doggy day care once a week wouldn’t go astray. Luke only being a young dog still needs to work on some manners like jumping up and waiting. Luke loves having people around and doesn’t like being left alone , he can be vocal if left too long.
He’s ok with cats unless they run then he thinks its a game and chases them, but being young this can be corrected. Luke can be bouncy so a home with older children would be best. Mental stimulation is good for working breeds, food toys, puzzles, making them use there brains for food. If Luke sounds like the dog for you please follow the link and fill in an application form.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
