Edison & Einstien ~ 8 w/o kittens (ontrial 19/6/20

PLEASE NOTE: Edison and Einstien are available to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast area only as they will have to be desexed at one of our local vets when they reach 2kg.

Einstein and Edison are two 8 week old kitten brothers, who are full of beans! They are cute as can be, with gorgeous subtle tabby markings through their fluffy black fur.

Their young mum gave birth to four kittens under a lovely lady’s house. Their rescuer coaxed mum into her garage, so she and her babies would be safe and warm. While their mum has clearly had a rough trot - Edison and Einstein have had human love, care and handling since they were only one week old.

They are confident and sociable kittens, who have been exposed to many different people and other cats. They have not been tested with dogs, but we believe they would be fine with a cat-friendly canine companion with a proper introduction.

These two are happy to be held, cuddles and receive affection, but, being so young, their favourite things to do are explore and play! Einstein (with the green collar), is very bold and outgoing. Edison has a calmer personality. As they grow their full personalities will blossom.

Because they are best of friends, we would love for them to go to a home together. This means they can keep each other company - while you experience double the fun! Preference will be given to applications to adopt both kittens, however, they could also be adopted separately to a household with someone who is home more often than not, or, with another friendly cat who would like a companion. They would also be suitable for a home with children who are old enough to respectfully handle small kittens.

Edison and Einstien are available for adoption to an indoor-only home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast Area only and their adoption fee is $420 for both.

The boys are in foster care in Waratah, NSW and have had their first vaccination and microchip but will need desexing at a local vet when they are 3-4 months old, which will be covered by Dog Rescue Newcastle.
