About Josie
Retirement is what Josie seeks.
A spunky 11 year old Kelpie X female who was abandoned at the pound a few weeks ago.
Sweet in nature. Calm in disposition and just craving some love, good snacks and cuddles
This sweet girl is currently sharing her foster home with another senior girl with no issues and shows that although she is 11. She still has so much life and go in her.
So we are looking for a loving retirement home for her, one that allows her access to inside at night especially but preferably throughout the day as well.
A home that can provide good quality food and daily joint care.
One with perhaps another social dog for company however she may suit a home as an only dog.
Being older and with some stiffer joints, we would recommend a calm home without young kids. She hasn't met any cats so we can't comment on her friendliness with them but she has met some horses and chickens behind a fence and seemed to be fine.
Josie is located on the Central Coast in private foster care and is hoping someone is looking for a beautiful senior like her.
Her adoption fee is $250 and she's ready to trot off to her new home now.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
