Beau

Introducing BEAU, an 18 month old male Shar-Pei/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, who is described by one of our long-standing volunteers as "one of the loveliest dog [she's] ever met".

This fine young dog is a playful and affectionate chap. He loves to run around and play with his favourite person or his canine mates, big and small.

Beau also loves children and would happily spend all day with them. However, due to his size (33.3 kgs) and considerable strength, he's perhaps better suited to a home with older children.

According to his foster mum, Beau is a clever boy and is receptive to training. He has made good progress with his manners and basic commands.

The ideal home for Beau is one where:

* his humans are home of the time,
* he has abundant exercise and stimulation, and
* he has a canine mate to play with.

Beau is not a dog that's suited to being left in the backyard for extended periods. He wants to be around his people and, if left to his own devices, can become destructive through boredom.

Secure fencing is essential.

Beau is untested with cats.

His adoption fee is $495 and he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
