Where do I start to describe this utterly gorgeous boy?
Cruz (a purebred Golden Retriever with pedigree papers) was surrendered by his family because of health and other family issues that make it difficult for them to provide Cruz with much attention. It was with heavy hearts that they decided he would be better off with someone who had the time for him.
He’s a senior boy, 9 years young who is in immaculate health according to the vet. He loves women and children in particular and is good with other dogs. Cruz loves playing fetch with balls and sticks. He loves to be cuddled and brushed. He loved to sit around the family’s fire bucket being patted.
His mum described him as the most beautiful boy, who is so, so loving, she also described how difficult parting with him is for them.
Cruz is a good boy in the car, to clip and to bath. He used to love family holidays to the beach at Nambucca Heads.
Obviously Cruz doesn’t have a lifetime ahead of him, but with his impeccable health record, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t have quite a few years to bring much love and joy to a new family.
Cruz is in care at Moree, NSW. His new family will need to be prepared to drive to collect him as commercial dog transportation is virtually non-existent in the current climate.
