On Hold
About Jack ~ 8yo Dalmation (On Trial 14/6/20)
This perfect gentleman is Jack who is an 8 year old Dalmatian looking for a new home.
Jack is after someone who is looking for a dog to be with them as a companion. He adores attention and to be honest everyone is drawn to him so he expects a pat from all those that come up to say “ hello “.
Yes Jack loves a walk and going out to meet new people. He isn’t a playful dog and prefers the company of his family and people in general over that of another dog. He gets on well with the the ladies but other male dogs he is not so sure of.
Jack is quite placid and he enjoys his time inside to just relax. Currently he sleeps outside in a covered area but he would love to be able to sleep inside.
We feel Jack hasn’t had much formal training but since being in care, his foster mum has been guiding him through the basic training and he is learning to sit, for a pat, wait for his food, for a pat and wait at the curb, for a pat. He isn’t treat orientated but affection orientated! He is toilet trained.
We are looking for a retired couple or semi retired couple for Jack but he would also be suitable with a family with older children who are happy to take him for a walk and with someone home often.
If you are interested in meeting Jack, please contact Sharron who is taking all enquiries by emailing sstudley3@gmail.com or you can fill out the adoption form online at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
He is located at Morisset and up for adoption in the Newcastle local area only.
Jack’s adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
