Cilla

Miss Cilla has had a long journey to get to where she is today. Cilla arrived in our care shutdown, broken and terrified of humans due to suspected abuse. After 4 months of rehabilitation, Cilla has shown us that she is ready for a very patient and special human to take her on the rest of her journey to purrs. Cilla would be best suited to a quieter home with older or no children, where her humans would understand that she needs patience, love and gentle pats for Cilla to continue to thrive and come out of her shell.

Cilla LOVES to play and is obsessed with ping pong balls (or balls that she can bat around of any type), feather wiggle sticks, toy mousies, and is very fond of her cardboard scratcher. Cilla has a very clown like playful personality, and has been know to play with our foster kittens at times. Cilla is good with most other cats, she generally likes to keep to herself though.

Cilla is accepting of pats when approached from behind the head and is beginning to enjoy chin scratches. Cilla has so much love to give, she will sit on the couch with you, while watching TV, likes to sleep on your bed or high up in a cat post. Cilla is a little intimidated by men, but she is working hard to overcome this.

The application criteria is that you must have the patience for her, and understand that she has been through a rough start in life, but she is willing, and deserving of a loving forever home. Cilla is an entirely indoor cat, and this is a requirement for her adoption.
