About Mutley
Mutley and Muffin were found abandoned on the side of a road near Tullymorgan, the people who found them went door to door to find their owners without any success, they kept them for a few days to see if anyone would come forward, then bought them to Happy Paws. They were too young initially but we scanned them for a chip and had them vaccinated when they reached 8 weeks. We think they are Board Collie Kelpie cross, full of life with lots of energy to burn. Muffin has found a wonderful home with a family on an acre or two with a family member home all the time to keep her company and to look after her, it would be wonderful if we could find something similar for Mutley. These pups are extremely active smart pups, have had 2 out of 3 of their puppy vaccinations and are desexed, chipped and regularly treated for parasites. They are border collie kelpie cross pups who need training, space and a very active household. These are not backyard pups unless they have an older dog to teach them and someone at home most of the time who is also active. Left to their own devices they will cause havoc and mayhem as they are very smart, loving and very affectionate waiting for someone to teach them and give them activities to do. 991003000593905
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
