Lola

UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO TRANSPORT OUR PUPS TO NEW HOMES BY PLANE.

NAME: Lola

BEFORE SAFE ESPERANCE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the local pound.

ASSETS: Affectionate, friendly playful, loving and intelligent. Crate trained. She's happy to sleep in her crate at night as long as she is let out to toilet at least once.

FAVOURITE THINGS: Playing fetch, cuddles on the couch and her people. She also loves her ball and squeaky pig,and loves to lie in the sun.

OTHER ANIMALS: She hasn't been introduced to many other animals as yet but has met some puppies. Her introductions have generally been very well mannered and she has loved the play and interactions although she can get a little over excited and pushy but this should resolve with experience. Lola is just very happy to meet other dogs and people and continuing her socialisation will be essential for her going forward.

DISLIKES: Being left alone. She's getting better but at the moment, when bored and away from her people, she will dig and chew plants.

WORKING ON: Housetraining. She's getting there, but will need some gentle encouragement and consistency to get her fully trained. Lead training and commands. She tugs on the lead at the moment and is still learning commands but she loves treats and so this will be a great incentive for her. Puppy training school will be a must for her, as well as consistent training at home.

IDEAL HOME: A home where she will receive consistent gentle guidance to continue to be a happy, healthy girl. Where someone is home for most of the time while Lola is still young to continue her training and grow her confidence. Children over 8 as she can be boisterous and jump up. A good sized yard for her to run around and let off steam. She also needs to be able to interact with her family as she wishes and be able to be inside or out as she needs and sleep inside at night.
