About German Shepherd x Ridgeback
Expressions of Interest enquiries are now open for these adorable pups. There are 3 females and 3 males. These youngsters are likely to be large dogs once they reach adulthood and are available to leave our care on July 4th.
Before completing an Expression of Interest Form, we ask please that you consider the following information:
• Do I want a puppy or an adult dog?
• Can I cover all the financial costs of owning a dog, beyond the adoption fee, including food, toys, annual vaccinations; vet checks; monthly flea/worm treatment and possibly pet insurance?
• Is my home safe and secure for a dog?
• Do I have time to train and socialise a dog?
• Will I have time to walk and play with a dog (approx 1 hour per day)?
• If renting, can I provide written permission from my landlord to have a dog and what happens if I move? Can I guarantee finding accommodation that will allow a large breed dog?
• Am I ready to take on a 15 year commitment?
BARRC consider socialising a puppy with other dogs to be of very high priority, inclusive of continuing socialising through their growth.
To express your interest, please fill out the form via the link below.

Adoption details
Our dogs available for adoption are all living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an application we will be in contact with you.
Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.
Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
