**PLEASE READ PROFILE CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING**
Garo is a sweet, playful boy once he gets to know you. He has his own timeline and and is looking for an experienced, capable home that will be happy to go slowly with him and help him gain confidence. Garo is best suited to a home without cats, small animals or young children. His timidness and wariness are the two main areas he has been concentrating on improving most.
He is good with dogs, although he can be shy and uncertain at times when meeting new ones. He walks well on lead, is food motivated and toilet trained. He goes for 2 long walks a day and loves them. He is happiest when cuddling or following you around, however if he gets bored he will play with his teddy bear or food puzzles. He can cry initially when left alone, and due to the current times, this hasn’t been often, however he does eventually settle.
Garo is timid around new people when out, will bark at guests and can be protective and uncomfortable if people come to the house. He can continue to be like that for the duration of the stay. He is seeking a home that will be willing to do training with him around socialising with people and building on his manners. He has responded well when all new people / dogs go for a walk together with him around the block before entering the house. To avoid disappointment, please only apply if you can meet his and our requirements.
