About Leo
Leo is friendly, obedient and easy to care for. He also walks well on a leash. Leo is a very pretty shade of light golden blonde. Leo is currently with a carer but needs his own person and home. Leo is best suited to a home that has a fenced yard and a doggy door. He has a very good and pleasant disposition and is non aggressive with other dogs. Some background information on leo: poor little leo was forced to spend a lot of his time during this last winter tied up outside (often in the cold and rain!) while his family home was being renovated. One day he got so fed up with this treatment that he broke free and took off. However he was soon captured by the ranger and handed in to the local pound. As leo was microchipped, it was an easy matter for the staff to get in touch with his owners and advise them that their dog had been impounded and was waiting to be collected. But sadly, they said they didn't want to be bothered looking after leo anymore and promptly surrendered him to the pound. After that if he didn't get an offer of rescue very quickly, the poor little fellow was facing euthanasia. At this point, dabs stepped in and saved his life. But now we need to find him a lovely forever home. Would you like to adopt him? we think leo would make a wonderful little companion for singles, couples or families alike. Leo needs to be kept primarily as an indoor pet and must be allowed to sleep inside the house at night. If you have a backyard it would need to be secure and escape-proof. But if he were taken for a couple of walks every day, leo would do just great as a little apartment dweller in the city or suburbs. We feel that a ground floor apartment would be the most suitable and preferably one fitted with a doggie door so that leo could have access at any time to some little enclosed area outside.
Medical notes
Leo is in very good health
