About Billie
Billie & Jessie are a bonded-pair of playful kittens full of energy and personality looking for their forever home. They love to play - whether it’s chasing a ball or string, clawing at the scratching post or running around the house. They can find amusement in the simplest of objects for hours on end, and then afterwards come looking for you for some affection with a calm rub behind the ears.
Billie has such a gentle nature and will win you over with his big doe-eyed looks. He can be timid at times but it’s a joy to watch him come out of his shell and build confidence when he’s playing. Once you have his trust, he will shyly approach you for cuddles and loves a scratch on the back/sides of his neck. Over time with some patience and care, his trust and confidence will only grow more and more.
Jessie is the more mischievous of the two and loves to play fight with his sibling. When you catch him watching his target, you can see his little bottom wiggle in anticipation before he pounces. Then when he does, makes the cutest little playful noises. When he’s not playing, you can generally find him perched on the edge of the couch watching the world out of the window.
Their favourite spot in the house is (of course) his foster carers computer desk and chair. They will playfully scout her desk in search of play equipment or a place to nap, and love little scratches along their journey. They enjoy watching her work and will even follow the mouse on the screen and try to swat it at times. Eventually they’ll find a resting place on either her keyboard or in front of the monitor. Or whens she's not watching, her chair!
They can be shy with strangers and will probably hide when you come to meet them. But once they feel safe, they love a cuddle and will be purring in your arms in no time.
If you are patient and want to grow trust and a bond with Jessie & Billie, and help to show them, that not all humans are bad, then get in touch :)
*PLEASE NOTE* Our volunteer vet nurses have guessed Billie & Jessie's sex based on a photograph provided by their foster-carer, however Billie & Jessie have their vet-work (de-sexing/micro-chipping/vaccinations) scheduled for the 11th of June, and their sex will be confirmed by the vet.
Adopting a bonded pair has lots of positives! Such as, having a companion to play and cuddle with, reducing boredom and anxiety. Adopting a bonded pair can be especially great for adopters that work full-time, taking away the stresses of leaving a loved pet at home alone, and knowing they will have company during the working day.
