About Tyler
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET ALL TYLER'S REQUIREMENTS
Tyler will need:
- A home with no other dogs, no cats or other pets
- Children must be at least in their teen years
- Ongoing obedience training
- A large yard with adequate shelter, natural grass areas and secure, dig-proof fencing
and gates
- A confident owner with Malamute experience essential
- Everyone loves a teenage Malamute! Especially a big fella like Tyler.
If you can resist being dazzled by his good looks, you’ll soon discover he has all the charms and challenges that any good young Mal should possess.
Tyler is a friendly boy that serves his own best interests first and foremost. He is happy to work in an equal partnership with a capable, confident owner, but will throw his weight around (figuratively and literally) if he thinks he can get away with it.
Any family that adopts Tyler must be willing to commit to ongoing obedience training to maintain his good manners.
Being a large dog, he will require a yard of reasonable size with natural grass and garden areas, and with adequate shelter from the sun and rain.
Tyler can be selective with his doggy companions. For this reason, he needs to be the only pet in the house.
Tyler is not available for interstate adoption, and definitely does not suit apartment living or properties with a small yard.
