** TIMID KITTEN ** CC came to us as a very scared, very timid little boy. He has since been in foster and has come a long way, but has a bit more to go. CC is interacting more and more very day but he remains wary of humans. He is an independent kitten and It will take some time in a new home before he will be comfortable exploring. CC loves to chase and enjoy a good rough and tumble with his brother, Cole. He may do well living with another cat who can show him humans are not so scary (or with his brother, Cole!). He can be drawn into playing with toys and will need a good scratching pole. CC is growing in confidence around people but prefers it if you give him space and he is allowed to come to you on his own terms. He is food motivated though and can be won over with treats and will accept pats when he is sleepy and settled. In foster care, CC grew used to the resident large, gentle dog and would curl up next to him. CC would not be suited to a family with children as his play is rough and he does not like to be picked up.
